Gen. Vinh inspects Warehouse K899.

During the visit, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh was briefed on the unit’s situation and its task performance in the first seven months of this year. He applauded the outcomes gained by the unit over the past time.

The deputy defense minister underlined that K899 is a strategic warehouse located in a key area, holding a strategic significance in terms of economy, defense and security. Thereby, he required the unit to heighten their responsibility in task performance and constantly raise professionalism in ammunition care and storage while grasping troops’ ideological situation and strictly maintaining labor discipline and ensuring labor safety.

The unit’s troops and staff should raise their political stance, maintain combat readiness, closely follow the situation to firmly protect the warehouse and barracks.

Meanwhile, the unit should pay much attention to taking care of the spiritual and material life of troops, contributing to successfully accomplishing all assignments.

Earlier, Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh and leaders of Lam Dong province offered incense and flowers in tribute to martyrs at the Lam Dong provincial War Cemetery, as well as inquired after and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mother Tran Thi Thung and the family of wounded soldiers Do Thi Nguu and Pham Van Toan in Da Lat city.
