General Nam inspects fire and explosion prevention of the unit.

At the working session, Chief of Depot K870 Senior Colonel Nguyen Viet Tuan briefed the deputy defense minister on the unit’s task performance over the past time, especially in ensuring safety for the unit, the warehouse system, the maintenance centers, and the internal technical areas.

The depot has strictly and comprehensively deployed training missions in combination with the movement “Good management and durable, safe and economical exploitation of weapons and technical equipment and traffic safety."

Speaking at the event, General Nam acknowledged and applauded the efforts of the unit over the past time.

He urged the depot in particular and the General Department of Technical Services to embrace higher levels’ resolutions and directives, continue studying to build storages as planned and improve the quality of weapons and equipment maintenance.

In addition, he urged the unit to build concrete plan to prevent fire and explosion, collaborate with the local forces, and enhance political and ideological education for troops.
