Defense leader inspects task performance of Coast Guard Region 2

Sr. Lt. Gen. Vo Minh Luong inspects Ship CSB 4033.

The delegation checked the unit’s results in the prevention and control of crime, drugs, human trafficking, smuggling, and trade fraud.

After the inspection, General Luong praised the unit's achievements over the past time. He asked the region’s Party Committee and Command to surmount shortcomings that were pointed out by the working delegation, forecast the exact situations to build concrete plans for their missions, and enhance the implementation of the programs that have been set up by higher levels.

In addition, the coast guard region should pay much attention to building solidarity and unity in the all-level leaderships, promote the core role of commanders, enhance criticism and self-criticism, grasp troops’ ideology and ensure material and spiritual life for troops.

On the occasion, General Luong and the delegation visited and offered gifts to troops of Ships 4033 and 4037 of Unit 212 of Squadron 21, and presented gifts to Squadron 21 and the Coast Guard Region 2 Command.
