The HQ-377 and HQ-378, commissioned by the Navy, are the modern missile ships built by the Ba Son Corporation under the General Department of Defence Industry.
The success of the tested missiles was a confirmation of the capability of mastering techniques and building ships of the ship-building industry of the army in general, and of the Ba Son Corporation in particular, in building military battleships. It also affirmed the Navy’s ability to exploit and master weapons and technical equipment.
After the live-fire test, General Phung Quang Thanh visited troops of Naval Brigade 685 at the firing ground and hailed them for outstanding achievements, solidarity and practical solutions to efficiently managing, using and mastering modern weapons and technical equipment.
