Notably, Corps 15 has consistently supplemented and practiced combat readiness plans; organized training for all subjects in accordance with the set program, with good results, ensuring absolute safety; developed a self-defense force with suitable structure and continuously improved quality to meet the requirements of combat readiness and protection of production facilities and localities. Particularly, the corps has deployed 220 alarming systems and 754 security cameras in production teams and twinned villages and has regularly coordinated well with other forces to maintain political security and social order in the region.
The unit has maintained stable production and trade; created jobs and improved incomes for workers and people in the area. Since 2024, Corps 15 has recruited 2,433 workers, of which 2,384 are from ethnic minority communities. The economic targets have been met and exceeded, with a revenue of VND 2.76 trillion, reaching 133.69% of the plan, up 12.74% compared to 2023; a profit of VND 405 billion, reaching 398.40% of the plan, up 105.43% compared to 2023; and an average income of VND 8.31 million per person per month, an increase of 10.11% compared to 2023.

The unit has continued to effectively participate in implementing national target programs on new-style rural areas building, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; building local political systems; eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses. These efforts have been highly praised by local party committees, authorities, and people.

Speaking at the event, General Cuong lauded Corps 15 for its obtained achievements and requested the unit to continue to study the resolutions and directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense; strictly observe combat readiness regulations and disciplines; closely monitor the development of local situations; and innovate strongly in thinking; prepare all aspects to enter the new era of the nation's rise.

The Chief of the General Staff advised Corps 15 to continue the streamlining of the organization and personnel; strictly and effectively conduct training; cooperate with relevant agencies to develop an effective production and business strategy; manage and maintain the operation of the Vocational Training College 21 according to law and regulations; bring into the effectiveness of residential clusters and "Exemplary Mass Mobilization" models; closely work with local party committees, authorities, and people; well carry out national defense diplomacy; and successfully prepare and organize the Party Congress at all levels within the corps.
