PANO - In the first half of 2024, the Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels under the Vietnam Border Guard Command directed their troops to be united and pro-actively overcome difficulties, achieving excellent results in border affairs.

Border guard force firm fulcrum in border areas

The Vietnam Border Guard Command carried out patrols along borderllines and checkpoints, and worked closely with other forces to promptly address border and territorial sovereignty issues in accordance with the Party's guideline and State's policies. The entire force effectively carried out tasks related to training, combat readiness, search and rescue operations, and combating various crimes in border areas, at sea, and on islands.

Additionally, the units regularly conducted border external affairs and actively built a strong grassroots political system, assisting local people in economic development. The command played a key role in mobilizing the overall strength of the people in managing and firmly protecting national sovereignty and border security.
