Dak Lak province’s border guard work highly appreciated

General Phuong made the commendation while leading the second mission of the Vietnam Border Guard Command to inspect the performance of border guard work in 2022 at the Border Guard Command of Dak Lak province on October 20-23.

The mission visited Yok Don and Serepok Border Posts and the command, during which they checked their documents on leadership over, direction on and implementation of border management and protection duties and the building of a comprehensively-strong, exemplary, typical unit. These documents mainly focused on the staff and command role, Party and political work, rehearsal of combat scenarios, to name but a few.

In his concluding speech, together with hailing their attainments, Major General Nguyen Hoai Phuong asked the Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of the provincial Border Guard Command to continue giving suggestions to the Party Committee of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee to well carry out the military and defense missions and border work as well.

He requested them to accelerate political education, manage troops’ thoughts, protect internal politics, review and supplement combat document system, especially maintain combat readiness duty, safeguard national border and prevent and control COVID-19 in the new period.

Urging the units to promote their achievements, the deputy chief of the Vietnam Border Guard Command said that they should stay united, well manage and protect the border and build a strong force.
