Titled “Air defense - air force coordinates with other forces to prepare and conduct operations to protect the socialism in Northern theater,” the exercise was divided into four stages, namely shifting the combat readiness status to higher level, preparing for combat, conducting combat, and recovering combat power.

In the field content, participating forces practiced attacking airborne enemy troops to protect the sea and airspace in the North, maneuver forces and materiel, and handle circumstances.

The exercise’s steering committee evaluated that relevant agencies and units thoroughly grasped the service’s plans and direction, issued leadership guidelines and measures, built action plan, and organized training for participating forces seriously. During the exercise, the steering committee closely followed units’ situation and gave timely direction, contributing to enhancing troops’ ability to handle circumstances.

The exercise aimed to improve officers’ command capability and their coordination in shifting combat readiness statuses, preparing and conducting combat to protect designated targets. The exercise’s results would help the service and its units to complete their combat plans close to the requirements of the Fatherland protection mission in the new period.
