Long Hoa Ward in Tay Ninh province covers 55 square kilometers and has a population of more than 106,000 people. Its Party committee has 59 grassroots Party organizations with 2,190 members. In 2025, the ward Party Committee successfully fulfilled its tasks, effectively implemented the two-tier local government, and introduced measures aimed at achieving average economic growth of more than 10 percent during the 2026-2030 period in line with the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the session, Senior Lieutenant General Tung praised the responsibility, initiative, and creativity demonstrated by the ward Party Committee’s Standing Board. He called on the committee to continue strengthening unity, improving leadership capacity and combat power within Party organizations, and enhancing inspection and supervision work while strictly maintaining Party discipline and regulations.
He also emphasized the importance of political education and public communication to build consensus among officials, Party members, and local residents, while promoting the exemplary role of leaders and encouraging self-criticism and criticism to identify shortcomings and improve leadership effectiveness.
The same day, during a working visit to the Management Board of the Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone in Tay Ninh province, GDP’s Deputy Chief Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung urged the board to continue implementing coordinated and innovative solutions to advise provincial authorities on developing the economic zone’s logistics, industrial, and service infrastructure.
He said these efforts would contribute to strengthening defense and security while expanding external relations and cooperation with Cambodian localities along the southwestern border.

Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh, who is Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs and member of the National Steering Committee for the search, recovery, and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains, chaired the conference.

The campaign aims to recover approximately 7,000 sets of remains of fallen soldiers, complete the collection of samples from unidentified graves at military cemeteries and newly recovered remains for DNA testing by the second quarter of 2027, covering around 232,000 graves, and conduct DNA analysis on about 18,000 sets of remains.
After reviewing initial implementation results, Sr. Lt. Gen. Minh commended agencies and units for seriously carrying out campaign tasks and directives. To meet campaign objectives, he directed agencies and units to finalize and issue plans and documents related to campaign implementation, including inspection plans for the campaign, plans for monitoring dry-season search and recovery missions in Cambodia during 2025-2026, and plans for inspecting temporary domestic recovery teams.
He also requested preparations for meetings and agreements with the Lao and Cambodian special government committees on continued cooperation in searching for, recovering, and repatriating the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors who died in Laos and Cambodia during wartime.
The GDP’s Deputy Chief instructed Military Region 4’s Steering Committee 515 and Nghe An province’s Steering Committee 515 to take the lead in collecting and transferring samples while organizing review conferences to draw lessons from the process.
He also called for accelerating the development of software supporting sample collection, sample transfers, and campaign management, while expanding public communication efforts to build public consensus and broaden special political activities related to the campaign at all levels.
He emphasized that all agencies and units must uphold responsibility, initiative, and creativity in directing, advising, and implementing assigned tasks to ensure the campaign achieves its objectives.
