According to the rotation mechanism, the joint patrol was organized by Honghe Border Management Team. Both sides followed the agreed joint patrol regulations masterplan, establishing a joint command with three patrol teams from each country. The teams patrolled from Border Marker No.29 to Border Marker No.71.

The patrol was conducted both on foot and by vehicle, using a method of border-to-border, point-to-point, and line-to-line coordination, covering a total distance of 150 kilometers. During the patrol, the two sides conducted law dissemination activities among 400 people in border areas.

Concluding the patrol, both sides agreed that the joint patrol was a success, obtaining the set targets and agreed on several key points for future collaboration. Particularly, they will enhance exchange information via official letters, hotlines, and actively coordinate with each other to address arising issues in border management, and crime prevention and combat.
