The barracks construction for Border Guard Company 320 of the LPA was started by the two defense ministries on December 21, 2021, on the occasion of the first Vietnam-Laos border defense friendship exchange.

This is one of the many gifts from the Vietnamese Defense Ministry to the Lao Defense Ministry, aiming to stand side by side with the LPA in general and the Lao border management and protection force in particular, contributing to further strengthening infrastructure, improving troops’ living quality.

In November 2022, the construction was completed by Corporation 36 under the Vietnamese Defense Ministry, with a total area of 61,000m2.
