The Lao delegation at the working session

Political chief of the General Department of Logistics Major General Le Tat Cuong received the delegation.

At the working session, Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Du, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the hospital, informed that in the COVID-19 combat, hundreds of Youth Union cadres and members of the hospital surmounted hardships and risks, volunteered to the front-line to save people.

These people are also the core force to give health examinations, health counseling, provide free medicines to thousands of poor people and national contributors, school supplies to thousands of students in remote and mountainous areas and donate thousands of blood units.

Attentively, some staff have completed the U.N. peacekeeping duties and become ambassadors of friendship, receiving high appreciation from the U.N. and people in the host countries.

The Lao delegation presents a gift to the leadership of the Department of Political Affairs of the General Department of Logistics.

With their constant efforts, the hospital’s Youth Union organization has taken the lead in movements launched by the General Department of Logistics and the whole military. Many Youth Union cadres and members have been admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On behalf of the leadership of the Department of Political Affairs of the General Department of Logistics, Major General Le Tat Cuong congratulated the Lao delegation on the Lao National Day (December 2).

The Vietnamese general hoped that the working visit of the Lao delegation would reap important results and be successful, contributing to the ever-green and sustainable solidarity, friendship, and close-knit relations between the parties, states, and people of Vietnam and Laos.
