Viet Nam always remembers and is grateful for the wholehearted and invaluable support and assistance provided by the Chinese Party, Government, people, and military during the struggles for national independence and reunification. In particular, during the resistance war against French colonialism, China directly dispatched military advisors to assist the Vietnamese revolution.

He noted that to express gratitude for the significant contribution of Chinese military advisors, the Party, State, military, and local authorities of Viet Nam have carried out many practical activities in recent years. These include paying tribute, laying wreaths, and offering incense in commemoration of the heroic sacrifices of Chinese People’s Liberation Army personnel; organizing reunions in China with veterans and Chinese advisors who assisted the Vietnamese revolution; renovating, restoring, and upgrading Chinese war cemeteries in Viet Nam; and erecting a monument dedicated to Chinese military personnel at the Viet Nam Military History Museum.
