Head of the Vietnamese young officers Deputy Political Chief of the Vietnam Border Guard Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai received the Cambodian young officers, led by Lieutenant General Sophonrnvong, Deputy Chief of Staff, Director of the Border Guard Department under the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense. 

Right after the reception, the two sides together planted friendship trees on the campus of the guest house in Loi Thuan commune, Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province. Meanwhile, the two countries’ young officers conducted law dissemination activities and distributed documents to officials, people and students who are living and working along the Vietnam-Cambodia border.

On the occasion, the organizing panel granted scholarship to 40 Vietnamese and Cambodian disadvantaged students.
