The DIFF 2025 saw the participation of 10 teams, namely Vietnam 1, Vietnam 2, Finland, Poland, Canada, China, Portugal, the U.K., the RoK, and Italy. It took place from May 31 to July 12.
Da Nang city’s border guard force was assigned to maintain security and safety in the water areas and onshore during the festival; and encourage local people, vessels’ owners, and business operators in the managed areas to strictly observe the festival’s regulations, ensuring the success of the event.
Accordingly, the force arranged the installation of a pontoon bridge and emergency exit system in the grandstand area to ensure safe and efficient transportation of leaders, the organizing panel, consultants, and participating teams upon request. The setup also facilitated rescue and emergency response operations in case of an incident.

On May 31, June 7, 14, 21, 28, and July 12, the force deployed 26 vessels and boats to ensure maritime security and safety in the fireworks display area. Additionally, 23 officers were stationed on tourist boats to direct and guide operators in strictly complying with anchoring regulations and ensuring passenger safety during the fireworks viewing, among others.
At the conference, the Border Guard Command under the Da Nang municipal Military Command handed over certificates of merit to 19 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the task of ensuring security and safety for the DIFF 2025.
