The second Vietnam–Cambodia Border Defense Friendship Exchange is scheduled to take place from November 13 to 14 in Tay Ninh province (Vietnam) and Svay Rieng province (Cambodia), featuring a wide range of meaningful activities, such as a border marker painting ceremony, tree planting, a joint military medical drill, an inauguration ceremony of a semi-boarding primary school in Tay Ninh province, a twinning ceremony between border residential clusters, a joint patrol between the two countries’ border management and protection forces, a groundbreaking ceremony for a primary school in Svay Rieng province, and talks and signing of cooperation documents between the two Ministries of National Defense.

After listening to reports from relevant agencies and units, and the opinions of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien delivered concluding remarks. He emphasized that as the event date is approaching, all relevant agencies and units should continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, enhance close coordination with one another and with local authorities to promptly finalize preparations, ensuring the successful organization of all activities within the framework of the exchange.
