The medical staff provide health check-ups for local people.

The recipients are policy beneficiaries, families of military officers, and people living in difficult conditions in the localities.

Meanwhile, the delegation has disseminated information and exchanged experience on civilized lifestyle, hygiene, and disease prevention and control.

Reportedly, the Son La provincial Military Command signed a twinning agreement with the Houaphanh provincial Military Command in 2016. Over the past time, the two units have promoted dissemination and education of information about the Vietnam-Lao traditional friendship and special solidarity among the armed forces and local people of the two provinces. Meanwhile, both sides have strengthened information exchange related to defense and security, enhanced coordination in building local armed forces, and supported each other in logistics and technical work.
