Free medicines and health checkups for Lao people
PANO – Military medical personnel of the Kon Tum provincial Border Guard Command recently launched a healthcare program for Lao people in late June.
Accordingly, the Vietnamese military doctors provided medical checkups, free medicines and health counseling for over 200 people in Dak Ba village, Dak Chung district, Sekong province of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

During the program, Lao people also received free medicines, worth VND 20 million in total.
On the occasion, the Vietnamese military unit also presented 43 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to needy households in the locality.
The program has contributed to building the Vietnam-Laos border of peace, stability and development as well as cementing the special solidarity and friendship between the two peoples and countries.
