Defense leader works with Chinese, Lao, Cambodian defense attachés
PANO - Deputy Minister of National Defense Sr. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien had a working session with defense attachés of China, Laos, and Cambodia on April 1 at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense (MND).
At the meeting, Gen. Chien assessed that the bilateral defense ties between Vietnam and China, Laos, and Cambodia have been constantly promoted across all fields, particularly in delegation exchanges, training, cooperation between services and corps, and border defense friendship exchanges.

According to the host, Vietnam is preparing for the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2025), an important political event of the country and the common joy of international friends who wholeheartedly supported Vietnam in its revolutionary cause. He emphasized that Vietnam always bears in mind the great assistance, especially from China, Laos and Cambodia.
He informed that the Vietnamese MND will soon send invitations to leaders of Chinese, Lao and Cambodian counterparts to participate in the celebration and to send servicemen to join in the upcoming parade for the event. He stressed that their participation will importantly contribute to the success of the event and demonstrate the solidarity and friendship between each of the three neighboring countries and Vietnam.

For their parts, defense attachés of China, Laos and Cambodia laid stress on the vital significance of the celebration and affirmed that they would promptly report to their home countries and give suggestions to functional agencies to accelerate the contents that Gen. Chien mentioned.
