Conferences in preparation for IMR 2020 and AMNEX 2-2020 held in Nha Trang
PANO – The Naval Service held the Initial Planning Conference for the International Maritime Review 2020 (IMR 2020) and the Middle Planning Conference for the second ASEAN Multilateral Naval Exercise 2020 (AMNEX 2-2020) from October 21 to 23 in Nha Trang city.
Apparently, IMR 2020 and AMNEX 2-2020 will be chaired by the Vietnam People’s Navy (VPN) as parts of Vietnam's chairmanship of the ASEAN in 2020.

The conferences witnessed the participation of high-ranking naval officers from ASEAN countries, representatives of the Lao People’s Army, the Western Pacific nations, and other partners, who will send ships to the events in 2020.
During the meetings, the VPN informed and discussed with delegates matters related to the force deployment, areas, and participating assets to IMR 2020 as well as plans for AMNEX 2-2020.
The conferences ended up with success thanks to the active participation and contribution of participating delegates to supporting the VPN’s preparations for the upcoming events.
