Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Deputy Director of the General Department of Political Affairs, attended the event.

At the reception, Major General Le Dung, Chief of Command 86, briefed the delegates on its construction and growth, as well as its remarkable achievements over the past time.

Together with the command’s function and tasks, Major General Le Dung informed delegates of the fight against hostile forces in cyberspace. He also suggested several measures to combat hostile forces’ plots and tricks, handle information in cyberspace, and ensure information safety in the military, among others.

At the meeting

Command 86 is willing to coordinate with the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba in ensuring safety and security in cyberspace and training personnel in fields of information technology, information safety, cybersecurity, and more.

For his part, Two-star General Víctor Rojo Ramos talked about the outstanding achievements gained by the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba in ensuring safety and security in cyberspace.

General Ramos thanked Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defense and Command 86 for assisting the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba in fighting and ensuring information safety in cyberspace and highly appreciated valuable experience shared by Command 86.

The Chief of the Political Directorate of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces spotlighted the critical role of the Party and political work in the military amid escalating security challenges in cyberspace.
