Accordingly, Viettel’s pre-tax profit reached more than VND 37 trillion, accounting for 70% of total profits of the industry. In the first nine months of this year, the group’s revenue was VND 60.1 trillion, a 6.8% increase in comparison with the same period last year.

The Profit500 ranking has been objectively built based on the criteria for profitability ratios, including Return on assets (ROA), Return on equity (ROE), and Rate of return (ROR). It is aslo based on other criteria, including pre-tax profits, revenues, and prestige of companies.

Accordingly to the Vietnam Report, those businesses demonstrated their impressive probability and their potential to become major supports of Vietnam’s economy. Also, they contributed greatly to popularizing Vietnamese brands across domestic and international markets.  

According to the report of the General Department of Taxation under the Ministry of Finance, Viettel has been among the biggest tax payers in Vietnam. The military business has frequently been honored by the Prime Minister for its contributions over the past years.
