Developing products to meet practical requirements
Since 2025, Z175 has focused on researching and developing five strategic product groups, namely aircraft tires, military vehicle tires, rubber coatings for submarine hulls, rubber boats, and bullet-resistant rubber products. Its priorities include advancing materials research, improving manufacturing technologies, expanding product lines, and enhancing quality. Several products are already in practical use, while others have completed research and evaluation for future production.

Aircraft tires, military vehicle tires, and specialized tires remain among the factory's core products. Compared with 2024, Z175 has expanded its production capacity and product range, including specialized and large-size tires. Designed to meet the technical requirements of different vehicles, these products emphasize load-bearing capacity, durability, and performance under demanding operating conditions. Mastering manufacturing technologies helps reduce dependence on imports, ensure reliable supplies, and create opportunities to enter civilian markets.
Other key products include road wheels, track pads, track pins for tanks and armored vehicles, and rubber components for aircraft and military vessels. These products require high standards of mechanical performance, precision, environmental resistance, and service life. Z175's expertise in materials research, design, and manufacturing enables it to develop components tailored to the technical requirements of different weapons and military equipment.
The factory will also introduce specialized protective equipment for soldiers, including protective suits for chemical troops, chemical protective clothing, and thermal camouflage clothing. Designed to ensure personnel safety during operations under special conditions, these products include a protective suit previously displayed at the second expo. When used with a gas mask, it protects soldiers in environments contaminated by toxic chemicals, during chemical incident response operations, and in polluted areas.

Z175 will also display rubber-coated fabric products for logistics and technical support, including flexible tanks, aircraft flexible fuel tanks, rubber boats, and other specialized equipment. Their flexibility, compact storage, and ease of transportation and deployment make them suitable for field operations. Manufacturing these products requires strict standards for durability, leak resistance, and fuel resistance.
The expanding product range reflects Z175's efforts to move beyond traditional manufacturing toward products with more demanding technical requirements and higher technological content. This development strengthens its capacity for self-reliance, supports military modernization, and creates opportunities for deeper participation in the defense industry supply chain.
Turning expo participation into practical cooperation
Z175's participation in the Viet Nam Defense Expo 2024 provided valuable opportunities to exchange information and connect with domestic and international partners. Interest from a Malaysian company in its tank track pads highlighted potential cooperation opportunities. Following the expo, the factory increased investment in technology, organized production, and improved its products, including track pads for vehicles participating in the A80 mission.

Building on these results, Z175 is preparing to showcase its capabilities and seek further partnerships at the expo 2026. Preparations include improving product quality and presentation, producing promotional videos, catalogs, and technical documents, and assigning qualified personnel with foreign-language skills to introduce products, provide consultations, and engage with potential customers.
With a growing product portfolio and increasingly advanced research and manufacturing capabilities, Z175 aims to turn its participation in the expo into concrete opportunities for cooperation, production, and business development. These efforts will further strengthen the Rubber 75 brand while contributing to greater self-reliance and modernization of Viet Nam's defense industry.
