Que Ngoc Hai banned for one match by his own club Viettel FC
PANO - Viettel FC has decided to ban its midfielder Que Ngoc Hai from playing the next match when the team plays against Becamex Binh Duong on the fourth round of the Vietnam National Football League (V-League) 2019.
Previously, during the capital city derby of the V-League’s third round between Viettel FC and Hanoi FC, Hai’s reckless tackle floored the host’s Tran Van Kien. However, the referee, Tran Dinh Thinh, only showed him a yellow card.
Fans’ discontent also exploded into Hai’s dangerous challenge.

At the press conference after the game, Hanoi FC head coach Chu Dinh Nghiem held that the Viettel FC midfielder deserved a red for his reckless tackle.
Right on the morning of March 7, Viettel FC took note of the tackle and banned Hai from playing next match vs the host Becamex Binh Duong at Go Dau stadium in Binh Duong province on April 8.
In 2015, Hai was banned for six months after a tackle on SHB Da Nang player’s Tran Anh Khoa, breaking the latter’s leg.
