Greening up dumping ground in Quang Ninh
PANO – Chinh Bac dumping ground - one of the large coal mines in Beo Mountain, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province is revitalizing thanks to efforts of a number of businesses.

The national flag-carrier, Vietnam Airlines, and the travel agency, Vietravel, in association with the Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin), on April 18, presented 50,000 trees to Quang Ninh province to green up the dumping ground.
Dang Anh Tuan, Northern Branch’s Director of Vietnam Airlines said, “We look forward to bringing about green and clean living environment to Quang Ninh’s people, as well as other localities throughout the country, creating favorable conditions for economic and sustainable tourism development.”
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi Truc – Director of the Vietravel in Quang Ninh, shared that the program continued the company’s campaign “For the Green Environment” launched in 2012.
The sponsors of the program, Vietnam Airlines, Vietravel, and Vinacomin, pledged to continue to work more closely in carrying out environmental activities in Quang Ninh province in the coming years.
