The four-day competition drew the participation of nearly 350 doctors and medical workers of 14 teams from military hospitals in the Northern region. The participants will compete in five categories, namely undertaking missions, practicing the mobility for surgical rescue teams, deploying a surgical rescue team, retreating the teams, and performing surgery on animals and answering knowledge questions.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, General Don stressed the significance of the competition, which aims to evaluate the military doctors and medical personnel’s capabilities in fulfilling their missions. Thus, the military medical sector could improve their roles in providing advice for the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to improve the efficiency of military rescue teams, contributing to meeting the tasks’ requirements in the current context.
