13 military hospitals to provide free health examinations
PANO – According to a plan of the Department of Military Medicine under the Ministry of National Defense, as many as 13 military hospitals and medical stations will provide free health check-ups and medicines for policy beneficiaries in localities, three caring centers for seriously wounded veterans, nursing center for national contributors in Phu Tho province, and Friendship Village of Vietnam. They will also visit and present gifts to policy beneficiaries.

The activities are in response to the implementation of Direction No.9799 of the Ministry of National Defense on activities to mark the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs and the implementation of action month on humanitarian medical examination and treatment and public health care in 2017 (July).
Meanwhile, the Department of Mass Mobilization under the General Department of Politics has drawn up plans to participate in the launching ceremony of the action month of humanitarian medical examination and treatment and public health care in 2017 held in Khai Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An province on July 2, along with meaningful activities, such as visiting and presenting gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, wounded soldiers, policy beneficiaries in the area; visiting the Vietnam-Laos Martyrs’ Cemetery (Anh Son district, Nghe An province).
