Thai Nguyen: Numerous wartime bombs safely disposed of
PANO – On October 17, in Na Ca 1 Hamlet, Tan Ky Commune, Thai Nguyen Province, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command safely detonated 11 MK-83 bombs left over from the war, which had been discovered by local residents during farming activities.
Previously, after receiving the information, the command’s engineering troops promptly arrived at the scene to cordon off the area, inspect and identify the bombs’ types and conditions, and implement safety measures for nearby residents.
