According to the report, on August 19, the team recovered one set of remains along with numerous items, including a belt, two military socks, fragments of a helmet, pieces of a padded vest, parachute cord, buttons, batteries, iron hooks, a medicine vial, cartridge cases, and bullet heads.
Division 10’s team and relevant forces in Quang Ngai province determined that it was a set of martyr remains. Division 10 has directed the team to expand the search area and reinforced the operation with 50 additional officers and soldiers from Engineering Battalion 17.
