The delegation reviewed the progress of the mission, force organization, safety measures, and the equipment and vehicles supporting the operation. The team’s head reported on the local situation, recent search results, and the challenges encountered during the mission.
To improve the effectiveness of the search, the team has coordinated with local Party committees and authorities, relevant agencies, witnesses, and veterans to collect and verify information, conduct site surveys, identify search areas, and carry out operations in accordance with established procedures.

According to the report, on August 19, the team recovered one set of remains along with numerous items, including a belt, two military socks, fragments of a helmet, pieces of a padded vest, parachute cord, buttons, batteries, iron hooks, a medicine vial, cartridge cases, and bullet heads.
Division 10’s team and relevant forces in Quang Ngai province determined that it was a set of martyr remains. Division 10 has directed the team to expand the search area and reinforced the operation with 50 additional officers and soldiers from Engineering Battalion 17.

Lt. Gen. He emphasized the need to ensure the safety of personnel and conduct the search and recovery work carefully, meticulously, and in accordance with regulations, ensuring accuracy and preserving the solemnity and dignity owed to the fallen.
