The Ho Chi Minh City Military Command mobilizes excavators and trucks to support soil excavation and transportation. |
The operation is being conducted at the second search site in Area B of the park. On August 11, the forces expanded the search area and processed more than 300 cubic meters of soil to reach locations suspected of containing martyrs’ remains. Because the area contains large amounts of fill soil from previous park renovations, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command mobilized three excavators, one dump truck, and two 3.5-ton trucks to excavate and transport soil and maintain the operation’s progress.

Team K76 conducts the search and recovery of martyrs’ remains in Loc Tan commune. |
Earlier on August 10, the Dong Nai municipal Military Command assigned additional officers and soldiers to reinforce Team K76 during the peak phase of the “500-day campaign to intensify the search, recovery and identification of martyrs’ remains.” The reinforcements aim to concentrate forces, accelerate search and recovery efforts, and improve their effectiveness.
Guided by the principle that “as long as there is information, verification will continue; as long as there is a possibility, the search will continue,” K76’s officers and soldiers are continuing their efforts to recover remains of the fallen and return them to their comrades, hometowns, and families. The team also calls on agencies, units, veterans, former service members, historical witnesses, and local residents with information about martyrs, their places of death or burial, or burial sites in Loc Tam hamlet and surrounding areas to provide relevant information to Team K76 under the Dong Nai municipal Military Command.
Information can be provided to Major Nguyen Van Long, Leader of Team K76, at 0974700778.
