By the end of August 3, relevant forces had found and recovered a total of 182 sets of remains, along with numerous artifacts.
During the day, personnel continued search and recovery operations at the second search site (Area B) within Le Thi Rieng Park.
The teams continued removing soil and expanding the search area around a burial trench in Area B, excavating nearly 300 cubic meters of earth to reach locations where remains were believed to be buried. The area consists of an earthen mound created during renovations to the park, requiring a large volume of soil to be removed.
To accelerate the operation, the Ho Chi Minh City Command continued deploying vehicles to transport excavated soil and maintained continuous work throughout the mission.
