245 sets of martyrs’ remains found and collected at Le Thi Rieng Park

From June 23 to August 8, the forces on duty discovered and collected a total of 245 sets of martyrs’ remains, along with numerous belongings, within the park.

Functional forces carry out the search and collection of martyrs’ remains at Le Thi Rieng Park.

According to the team’s report, the forces continued search and collection work at the park’s second site, Zone B. They moved soil, expanded the search area, and processed around 250 cubic meters of earth to access suspected burial locations. Due to the massive volume of backfill from previous park renovations, the Ho Chi Minh City Military Command mobilized three excavators, one dump truck, and two 3.5-ton trucks to dig and transport soil, ensuring the mission’s progress.

Functional forces are urgently and carefully carrying out the search and collection of martyrs’ remains at Le Thi Rieng Park. The effort reflects their sense of responsibility and upholds the moral traditions of “When drinking water, remember its source” to the heroes and martyrs who laid down their lives for the Fatherland’s independence and freedom.
