The program combined live exchanges, documentary reports and online connections with different places, taking audiences back to major historical milestones, from the winter of 1946 and the 12-day-and-night “Ha Noi - Dien Bien Phu in the Air” campaign in 1972 to the missions undertaken by the capital’s armed forces in peacetime.

The program featured two main parts, with the participation of many guests. The guests focused on sharing stories about the continuation of the spirit of sacrifice for the Fatherland in force building and in carrying out defense tasks in association with the capital’s socio-economic development, search and rescue operations, and the protection of the people in the new era.

The event not only provided an opportunity to revisit glorious pages of history, but also helped foster pride and strengthen confidence, further promoting the 80-year tradition of building, fighting, and maturing of the capital’s armed forces. It also sought to inspire the younger generation of Ha Noi to aspire to contribute through concrete actions, joining hands to safeguard peace and build a cultured, civilized and modern capital.
