In 2024, Tay Ninh province approved and launched a project to upgrade Hill 82 War Cemetery, with a total investment of more than VND 204 billion. Of this amount, VND 160 billion is funded by the central government, and the remainder came from the provincial budget. Under the project, the cemetery grounds will be expanded and renovated over an area of approximately 31.9 hectares, and the construction is expected to be completed in 2027.

The upgrade aims to ensure that the cemetery is dignified and worthy of the historical significance and sacrifice of the martyrs. The project is designed to integrate effectively with local heritage tourism sites, creating a comprehensive network of revolutionary, ecological, and spiritual tourism destinations, contributing to the development of Tay Ninh’s tourism sector.
