The project spans 1.5 kilometers and includes the installation of 35 solar-powered streetlights, each accompanied by a national flag. The total cost of the project is nearly VND 100 million.

The fund for the project was sourced from the partnership program between the Ho Chí Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO) for the 2024-2026 period, as well as other social contributions.

Secretary of the Tuy Duc district Youth Union Ngo Thanh Phap emphasized that the project is a meaningful and practical activity to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2025) and to welcome the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

The project aims to bring light to Bu Lum border hamlet, ensuring better security and social order while facilitating safer and more convenient travel for residents. It also serves to raise the awareness of border communities about the benefits of using solar energy, promoting reduced energy consumption, climate change adaptation, and environmental protection.
