Dak Lak’s border guard mobilizes fishing boats to rescue four fishermen

At around 6 a.m. the same day, the border post received a report from Tran Huu Ly, born in 1977 and from Hoa Hiep ward, Dak Lak province, the owner and captain of trawler PY-62047-TS. He reported that trawler BD-95831-TS with four fishermen aboard, captained by Nguyen Tong Tran (born in 1975 and residing in Hoai Nhon Dong ward, Gia Lai province), had sunk while operating about five nautical miles offshore.

The rescued fishermen are provided with temporary accommodation and meals by officers and soldiers of Hoa Hiep Nam Border Post.

The unit immediately mobilized four fishing boats owned by Tran Huu Ly, Dang An, Dang Van Kha (residents of Hoa Hiep ward, Dak Lak province) and Huynh Ninh (a resident of Hoai Nhon Bac ward, Gia Lai province) to provide assistance.

Minutes later, fishermen aboard the PY-62047-TS, captained by Tran Huu Ly, reached the distressed boat and rescued all four crew members, namely Nguyen Tong Tran, Ton Van Thao and Pham Ngoc Dong (all from Hoai Nhon Dong ward, Gia Lai province) and Nguyen Van Hanh (a resident of Quy Nhon ward, Gia Lai province).
