Over the past years, the Central Military Commission and the MND have regularly coordinated with functional agencies and localities to make recommendations to issue policies and regulations about national contributors.
Under the direction of the GDP, over the past five years, the whole military has mobilized resources to build and repair more than 43,400 houses and eliminate 9,800 makeshift homes, with total funding exceeding VND 2.430 trillion.
Military units have also presented more than 1,100 savings books worth over VND 6.2 billion, contributed more than VND 300 billion to the renovation of martyrs’ memorials, and provided gifts to tens of thousands of policy beneficiaries on holidays and other special occasions.

Speaking at the meeting, Senior Colonel Ngo Thi Le expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contribution of fallen heroes, wounded and sick soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and national contributors from Ca Mau province. She said the meeting provided an opportunity for officers and soldiers to express their appreciation and draw inspiration from the patriotism and steadfast revolutionary spirit of previous generations.
She expressed hope that the delegates would continue to uphold revolutionary traditions, continue to support younger generations, and help foster patriotism among the public.
Hailing Ca Mau province for its efforts to implement social welfare policies in recent years, Senior Colonel Ngo Thi Le asked local authorities and armed forces to continue mobilizing social resources to better care for the material and spiritual life of national contributors.
On behalf of the delegation, Nguyen Thuy Nhu, Deputy Director of the Ca Mau provincial Department of Home Affairs, thanked the MND for its warm reception. She affirmed that local authorities would continue to fully implement policies for national contributors in the coming time.
On this occasion, authorized by the MND and GDP leaders, Senior Colonel Ngo Thi Le presented 74 gifts to members of the delegation.
