During the visit, Sr. Col. Mai Kim Binh inquired after wounded and sick soldiers, as well as national contributors being treated and taken care of at the center. He expressed his hope that they would continue to uphold the traditions, maintain the noble qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, good health, and serve as shining examples for younger generations to follow.

He also required the center’s staff to overcome difficulties and take good care of policy beneficiaries and national contributors, showing the responsibility and gratitude of the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region 5 Command to war martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and national contributors in the cause of national building and protection.

On the occasion, Col. Binh presented gifts to the center’s staff, wounded and sick soldiers, and national contributors being cared for and treated at the center.

Reportedly, the provincial Military Command has conducted a series of gratitude activities on the occasion of the Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day, including visiting and offering gifts to eight heroic Vietnamese mothers, 25 policy beneficiaries in the locality, former leaders of the provincial military command who are wounded soldiers, and 87 officers currently working at the provincial military command who are children of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers; as well as handing over gratitude houses to policy beneficiaries, among others.
