Border people receive Tet gifts.

In particular, the units presented 15 scholarships, worth VND 1 million each, and 15 gifts, worth VND 400,000 each, to needy students and policy and needy households in Lai Hoa and Vinh Tan communes, Vinh Chau town. The fund was donated by sponsors in the areas.

The activities were to share difficulties with ethnic minority people in the areas, contributing to ensuring a happy and cozy Tet (lunar New Year) for them as well as expressing gratitude to them for helping the border troops and local authorities in performing tasks in the border areas.

Gifts presented to policy and needy people in wards 11 and 12

* On the same day, the Border Post of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Port organized a border spring program in 2022.

On this occasion, its Vung Tau port border checkpoint presented 30 Tet gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to policy and needy people in wards 11 and 12.

In addition, two other gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, were also presented to needy students in the area.

These meaningful activities contributed to helping policy and needy people in border areas have a happy Tet, thus firmly protecting the national sovereignty over sea and islands in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
