Border troops support needy families in Ia Rve border commune

During the program, the organizers presented 140 gifts, worth VND 50 million in total, to policy families and pandemic-hit children while providing health checkups and free medicine for locals. In addition, troops of the Ia Rve Border Station in collaboration with the Ia Rve Commune Youth Union prepared 1,500 chung cakes to present to needy families in the area.

According to Colonel Nguyen Doan Hoa, Political Chief of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, this year program was held in the four border communes of Ia Rve, Ia Lop, Ea Bung (Ea Sup district) and Krong Na (Buon Don district). He stressed that the program was organized with a limited number of participants following strict regulations of COVID-19 prevention and control.

Units of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guards collaborated with the local authorities to make a list of needy and policy families and organized appropriate activities to support them.
