Nghe An border troops present Tet gifts to needy people
PANO – On January 11, a delegation of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command, led by its Chief Senior Colonel Nguyen Cong Luc, visited and handed over Tet gifts to needy people in the border commune of Tam Quang, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province.
The gifts, worth VND 50 million, were donated by the officers and soldiers from the Nghe An provincial Border Guard with the aim of easing the difficulties of needy households and helping them have a warmer and happier lunar New Year festival.
Over the past time, despite the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the provincial border troops have fulfilled pandemic prevention and control work and all assigned political missions as well.
Upholding the tradition of solidarity and mutual love, the Nghe An provincial border troops have paid more attention to social security activities, especially conducted practical activities to support needy people and households with extremely difficult conditions living along the borderline.
