Disadvantaged students in Tay Ninh’s border areas supported

Leaders of the Tay Ninh provincial Border Guard Command and local authorities present bicycles to disadvantaged students in border areas.

At the event, the organizing panel handed over 50 bicycles to students with difficult conditions in border communes of Tay Ninh province. The total funding exceeded VND 100 million and was raised through contributions from generations of border guard officers and soldiers.

According to Pham Thuy Kieu, Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Thanh commune People’s Committee in Tay Ninh province, the care, support, and responsibility demonstrated by the province’s border guards and previous generations of the force are of practical significance. The bicycles will make it easier for students to travel to school, encourage them to overcome difficulties, study hard, and help them become good citizens.
