As reported at the conference, the Hanoi VVA currently has nearly 280,000 members. Among them, 424 are generals and 94,562 are Party members.

An overview of the conference

The conference aims to disseminate information on mass media about the implementation of the Resolution of the 6th Congress of the Hanoi VVA, focusing on the implementation of key political missions, including taking part in building and protecting the Party, the State, the socialist political system, and the people, supporting the association’s members and people to eradicate hunger and alleviate poverty, control the COVID-19 pandemic, building new-style rural and civilized urban areas, among others.

Over the past time, members of the Hanoi VVA chapter have heightened solidarity and responsibility to accomplish all assigned missions, deserving the title “Uncle Ho’s soldiers.”

Speaking at the event, Major General Le Nhu Duc, Chairman of the Hanoi VVA, spoke highly of the close coordination between press agencies and the association.

Gen. Duc also required press agencies to further coordinate with the association to update and popularize information related to the association’s activities in a timely manner, especially before, during and after the 7th Congress of the Hanoi VVA chapter for the 2022-2027 tenure, which is scheduled to take place in October.
