Accordingly, Division 5 provided VND 80 million to build a house for a serviceman's family and allocated funds for the repair of seven houses, with each receiving VND 50 million. Additionally, seven servicemen received VND 10 million each to alleviate their hardships.

According to Senior Colonel Nguyen Hai Nam, Commanding Officer of Division 5, the Party Committee and Chain-of-command of the division have regularly implemented policies for officers and soldiers. Every year, the division collaborates with affiliated units and local authorities to fund the construction of ten houses for servicemen facing housing difficulties, encouraging them to overcome hardships and fulfill their duties.

These support programs are part of a series of activities by the division to commemorate the 77th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - 2024).
