Large trees uprooted by strong winds damage several houses in Co Ky hamlet.

Earlier, at around 3 a.m. the same day, heavy rain, accompanied by strong winds, struck Co Ky hamlet, damaging the houses of several households. Among them, the family of Lung A Pho, born in 1992, with seven members, had 32 square meters of roofing collapsed, with estimated losses of about VND 45 million. The household of Vang Thi Su, with 12 members, suffered damage estimated at around VND 3 million. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Immediately, Dao San Border Post dispatched 15 officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities and on-site forces to promptly assist affected families in clearing debris, repairing houses, and stabilizing their lives as soon as possible.

Colonel Ha Duc Long, Political Commissar of Dai San Border Post, said the unit would continue directing its teams to remain on the ground, closely monitor weather developments, and provide timely support for local residents in preventing and mitigating natural disasters, ensuring that no one is left without food or shelter.

Given the increasingly complex weather conditions in the Northern mountainous region, unit has advised residents to actively follow weather forecasts, reinforce their houses, secure roofs, and avoid staying near large trees or landslide-prone areas to ensure safety during storms and strong winds.
