Armed forces respond to whirlwind’s consequences
PANO – Nearly 40 officers and soldiers of Phu Loc district, Thua Thien Hue province have joined hands in dealing with aftermath of a recent whirlwind.
Previously, on March 31, the whirlwind blew off the roofs of 27 houses and sank seven fishing boats, leaving four people injured.

Right after the natural disaster occurred, the military command of Vinh Hien commune of Phu Loc district sent militiamen to rush to the scene to check the situation; and at the same time reported to Phu Loc district Military Command to send more forces.
They completed helping families whose houses lost under 50% of their roofs on the same day. Meanwhile, they also worked with local authorities to support the heavily-affected households to soon overcome consequences and stabilize their life.
