Corps 20 presents gifts to wounded soldiers and martyrs' families
PANO - On July 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, Corps 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation held a meeting and presented gifts to wounded soldiers and children of fallen heroes currently working in the unit, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).
At the meeting, the leadership of Corps 20 paid deep gratitude to the families of heroes and martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, who rendered great service to the fight for national liberation and the national construction and defense cause. The Corps’ leaders expressed their hope that wounded soldiers and children of fallen heroes will continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and the cultural values of the Saigon Newport Corporation, set exemplary standards in complying with the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, as well as the regulations of the military and Corps 20.

Following the meeting, Corps 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation organized a "return-to-the-roots" program for wounded soldiers and children of martyrs to visit Hanoi and Quang Ninh provinces.

On this occasion, the Corps handed over 22 gratitude houses to policy beneficiaries facing housing difficulties in several localities, including Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Lam Dong, and Thanh Hoa provinces, among others.

The Corps also conducted visits and presented gifts at convalescent centers for wounded soldiers; visited and gave gifts to 130 heroic Vietnamese mothers and relatives of martyrs across 12 provinces and cities; offered incense to recently deceased heroic Vietnamese mothers in various localities; organized meetings and presented gifts to 40 wounded soldiers and sons of martyrs currently working in the Corps; and provided gifts to 670 relatives of employees across the entire corporation who are wounded or sick soldiers. The total budget for these activities amounted to nearly VND 5 billion.
