Art program held in commemoration of wounded soldiers and martyrs
PANO - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), on July 16, the Military Broadcasting Center in coordination with Military Region 4 and the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province, held the “Fatherland Recognizes Contributions” annual program themed “Continuing the story of peace” at the Road 9 National War Cemetery.
This program is an annual event honoring generations of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the national independence and the sacred international duties, simultaneously, fostering the Vietnamese tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source.”

The event featured artistic performances intertwined with conversations with historical witnesses, exemplary officers, soldiers and young representatives, bringing touching and solemn moments and reminding the young generation to live worthy of the sacrifices of their forebears.

On this occasion, the organizing committee and its partners presented meaningful gifts to families of martyrs, policy beneficiary households, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and units currently engaged in remembrance and gratitude missions.
