During the event, the organizing panel presented over 100 Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries, poor households, and soldiers on duty; and provided over 300 sets of school supplies at a “zero-VND market,” with a total cost of nearly VND 100 million. The program also featured food stalls, folk games, and dissemination activities regarding sea and island sovereignty, key emulation contents towards the 14th National Party Congress.

Major Nguyen Dinh Tan, Political Commissar of Thanh An Border Post, emphasized that this was a practical political activity to welcome the 14th National Party Congress, thereby reinforcing the people’s trust and affirming the role of the border guard force in social welfare work.

Receiving a meaningful gift, Tran Thi Ut from Thanh An commune expressed her emotion and gratitude for the support from the soldiers and authorities. Meanwhile, Bui Thi Nga, an 8th-grade student at Thanh An Secondary and High School, a recipient of the “Paving the way to school for children” scholarship, promised to study hard to contribute to building her homeland.
