The event saw the participation of organizations, enterprises and more than 1,000 people in Axan and Tr’s Hy border communes in Tay Giang district, Quang Nam province.

The program included a series of activities, including camp building competitions, display of highland products, Chung cake making, folk games, artistic programs, “Zero-VND” stalls; house inauguration and hand-over; free health check-ups and medicines, among others.

Meanwhile, the organizing panel presented 1,500 gifts, projects, and livelihoods to poor families, households living near the border with Laos, village elders, and village patriarchs.

According to Senior Colonel Hoang Van Man, Political Commissar of the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command, the program aimed to show border troops’ sentiments towards people in border areas for standing by them in protecting national sovereignty and security, contributing to strengthening the whole-people great solidarity bloc.
